TN History for Kids Fall Retreat

The historic bridge at Cumberland Mountain State Park

Tennessee History for Kids is having a fall retreat--an entire day of fascinating social studies inservice training.

Where? Cumberland Mountain State Park restaurant and conference center

When? Wednesday, November 8, from 8:30 until 3:30

How much? $30 per teacher (which includes lunch, admission to the Cumberland Homesteads Tower Museum and sample TN History for Kids booklets!)

Target audience? Recommended especially for teachers in grades 1, 4, 5, 8 and 11, especially those with interest the Cumberland Plateau region.

In addition to the Cumberland Homesteads Tower Museum, this event will include a visit to the new CCC Museum at Cumberland Mountain State Park.
