GEOGRAPHY

Much as we did with civics, we created a multi-tiered geography section.

A farm in Coffee County
In Elementary Geography, we explain how to build a map of Tennessee using a funny box, four lines and four dots. We'll show you what different crops look like, tell you about the rocks under our feet, and talk about things people make in Tennessee.

The Great Smoky Mountains
In Middle School Geography, we take things further. We explain the state's three grand divisions and six physical regions. We talk about Tennessee's three big river systems and four big cities. We'll go into more depth about agriculture and mining. We put it all together -- explaining how geography affects history.

And we answer that age-old question: Where does the produce in the grocery store come from?
