Tennessee History for Kids would love to speak to teachers in your part of the state.
Now that the organization has a full time executive director again, we are scheduling personal appearances at which "History Bill" Carey can spread the good news about Tennessee history, civics and geography and show how to use the web site, videos, booklets and other Tennessee History for Kids tools in class. He always has plenty of posters, booklets and other goodies to give away! Since 2006, "History Bill" has spoken at more than 80 teacher training events, including the National Conference of Social Studies annual conference, the Tennessee Association of Middle Schools summer conference (4 times), and system wide inservices in Shelby, Hamilton, Knox and Davidson counties.
