Snapshots of Tennessee Kids This photograph shows students working at their desks at the Little Greenbrier School and Church House in Elkmont (in Sevier County). The photograph is not dated, but we believe it was taken in the 1930s.
The Elkmont community no longer exists, by the way. Everyone who lived there was forced to leave when the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was created. Click here for the next picture. |
