There are more than 300 questions in the Tennessee History for Kids quiz bank. Each is attached to a certain grade level - those being grades 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, and 12. In general, here are the topics covered in each grade:

Grade 2 - Basic Tennessee civics and geography

Grade 4 - Early Tennessee history

Grade 5 - Late Tennessee history and some Tennessee geography

Grade 7 - Tennessee geography

Grade 8 - Early Tennessee history (more advanced questions than Grade 4)

Grade 11 - Late Tennessee history (more advanced questions than Grade 5)

Grade 12 - Tennessee government

When you take a test, you have a choice of picking either QUESTIONS JUST FROM YOUR GRADE or QUESTIONS FROM YOUR GRADE AND ALL PRECEDING GRADES. In fact, the system is a little more complicated than this. Suffice it to say that no matter which option you choose, you will get some BASIC TENNESSEE CIVICS AND GEOGRAPHY QUESTIONS as part of the test because we feel that these questions are so important. But, otherwise, the system works just the way it sounds.
