Be Part of the Story (Citizenship Test booklet)

Be Part of the Story (also known as the “Citizenship Test” booklet, contains all of the American civics and history content that naturalized citizens have to learn.

At the end of the 64-page booklet is a 50-question multiple choice test that covers all of the material in the booklet.

Be Part of the Story was created to help teachers and public school systems adhere to the Tennessee law that requires students to take and pass a citizenship test in order to graduate from high school.

This booklet is frequently updated and revised to reflect the new elected officials in Tennessee and the United States. The most recently copy was revised and printed in May 2022.

Also, be aware that since the content of this booklet is so frequently revised and updated, the interior of this one is black and white.
